B2B store development

We build B2B ecommerce stores that let your business customers order on their own — company accounts, contract pricing, quotes and ERP-driven catalogs, developed on Magento 2 and Shopware.

B2B ecommerce, built around how your buyers order

Selling to businesses is not selling to consumers. Your customers order the same items every month, expect their negotiated prices, need approval from a manager, and want stock and delivery dates they can trust. A B2B webshop that ignores this just moves phone and email orders onto a slower channel.

We build B2B stores that replace manual order taking with genuine self-service. Buyers log in, see their own prices and catalog, reorder in a few clicks, request a quote when they need one — and your team stops retyping orders into the ERP.

What your B2B customers get

  • Company accounts with multiple users, roles, budgets and approval hierarchies
  • Their own negotiated pricing, volume tiers and contract price lists
  • Fast reordering from order history, saved lists and uploaded order files
  • Request-for-quote flows, plus punch-out and EDI where required
  • Live stock, delivery dates and invoices pulled straight from your ERP
  • Payment on account and credit limits alongside standard payment methods
  • AI-assisted search and part finders that help technical buyers locate the right SKU in a large catalog

Where the savings come from

Most of the return on a B2B store is internal. Every order a customer places themselves is an order nobody has to type in, price manually or chase by email. Connecting the shop to your ERP means product data, pricing, stock and invoices live in one place, and your sales team spends its time on new business rather than on repeat admin.

Why build B2B on Magento 2 or Shopware

Magento 2
Adobe Commerce & Open Source

The most complete B2B feature set of the two: company accounts, shared catalogs, quote workflows and requisition lists are part of the platform, and it handles very large catalogs and deep ERP integration.

→Company accounts, roles and approval flows
→Shared catalogs and contract pricing per customer
→Quote requests and requisition lists built in
Shopware 6
Cloud & self-hosted

A lighter, API-first option that suits B2B operations with simpler pricing and approval requirements, or teams that want a fast launch and a clean admin their staff can run.

→Faster launch for a first B2B channel
→API-first for custom portals and integrations
→Straightforward admin for internal teams

FAQ Common questions

Questions we get asked

Straight answers on B2B pricing, company accounts, ERP integration, cost and timelines.

What is a B2B ecommerce store?

A B2B webshop sells to businesses rather than consumers. Instead of one price for everyone, each customer logs into a company account and sees their own negotiated pricing and catalog, can reorder from history, request quotes, and order under approval rules — with stock, prices and invoices synced from the ERP.

How is a B2B store different from a B2C store?

B2C optimises for discovery and impulse purchase. B2B optimises for repeat ordering by known customers: login-only pricing, company accounts with roles and budgets, volume and contract pricing, quotes, payment on account, and ERP-driven catalogs. The storefront design and the backend logic are both different.

How much does it cost to build a B2B webshop?

Cost is driven by pricing complexity, approval rules and how deep the ERP integration goes — more than by catalog size alone. A store with straightforward tiered pricing costs considerably less than one with per-customer contract price lists, punch-out and multi-step approvals. We give a fixed scope and estimate after discovery.

How long does a B2B store project take?

Most B2B projects take approximately four to six months. The ERP integration and pricing logic usually take longer than the storefront itself, and require testing against real customer data. We build in sprints with a staging store visible throughout.

Can you connect the B2B store to our ERP?

Yes — this is usually the core of the project. We integrate with Pantheon, SAOP, Navision, SAP and others, syncing products, customer-specific pricing, stock levels, orders and invoices both ways, so customers see accurate data and your team stops entering orders manually.

Can customers have their own prices and price lists?

Yes. We implement customer-specific price lists, volume and quantity tiers, contract pricing, and discounts per customer group. On B2B projects pricing is normally maintained in your ERP and synced to the store, so every customer always sees exactly the prices that were agreed — with one source of truth and no duplicate maintenance.

Can we sell B2B and B2C from one store?

Yes. Normally we set up a separate website inside the same shop platform for each audience — one for B2C and one for B2B — running on a single installation and one codebase. Each website has its own pricing, catalog, design, payment methods and checkout rules, so retail customers see retail prices while logged-in business customers get their net pricing, without maintaining two separate shops.

Do you support quote requests, approvals and punch-out?

Yes. We implement request-for-quote flows, multi-step order approvals with budgets and roles, and punch-out or EDI connections where your customers procure through their own systems.
